• EN 166:1995

Eye protection products like safety glasses, goggles, and face shields with the EN 166 rating are tested for their construction, optical clarity, and resistance to hazards like impact, dust, and chemicals. This ensures the eyewear provides reliable protection and clear vision, helping you choose the right safety gear for your eyes.

  Testresultat

  • Mechanical Strength F

Protects against low-energy impacts, equivalent to a small object hitting the eyewear at 162 km/h. Ideal for general use like woodworking and light manufacturing where there is a risk of impact from slower-moving projectiles.

• EN 170:1986

Safety eyewear like glasses and goggles with the EN 170 rating are tested for effective filtering of harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation while maintaining optical clarity. This ensures your eyes are protected from UV damage and you can see clearly without distortion.

  Testresultat

  • Ultraviolet Filter 100 %

Provides 100% protection against harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays from the sun and artificial sources like industrial lamps. This level of filtration helps prevent eye damage during both indoor and outdoor work.

• EN 172:1994

Safety glasses, goggles, and face shields with the EN 172 rating are tested for protection against sun glare, harmful UV radiation, and to ensure clear vision. This means they effectively reduce bright light and block UV rays, helping to prevent eye strain and long-term damage while maintaining good visibility for industrial use.

  Testresultat

  • Sun Glare Reduction Tested

Provides protection against industrial sun glare to reduce eye strain and the risk of accidents from reduced visibility. Ideal for outdoor work such as construction, road work, and agriculture in bright sunlight.
