• PVC-muovi Merkintä

PVC-muovi merkintä tarkoittaa "polyvinyylikloridia", muovityyppiä, jota käytetään yleisesti putkien, kaapeleiden ja lattiapäällysteiden valmistukseen. Euroopassa PVC-symbolilla varustettujen tuotteiden on täytettävä tietyt Euroopan unionin asettamat kierrätys- ja turvallisuusstandardit. Ympäristöongelmien vuoksi PVC:n käyttöä on rajoitettu ja sen käyttö on asteittain lopetettu tietyissä sovelluksissa.
