PPE Category 3
PPE stands for "personal protective equipment." PPE Category 3 refers to equipment that is complex and provide the highest level of protection such as powered respirators, SCBA, and full body suits. In Europe, PPE Category 3 must meet certain safety standards set by the European Union, which means that it must be designed and manufactured to protect the user without causing harm. Companies that make or sell PPE must prove that it meets these standards. They also must have a quality management system in place, have to be audited regularly by a notified body and have to have a technical documentation.

Honestly, finding a jacket that nails both high, visibility and actual comfort in tough conditions felt impossible until this Portwest Modaflame jacket came along, it’s incredibly visible without being stiff and genuinely comfortable for all,day wear. I've put this vest through some serious paces, and it holds up like a champ, making it my absolute favorite for safety and practicality on the job.

This hi,vis jacket is seriously impressive for staying seen and really holds up against the elements during long shifts. My only minor gripe is the slight stiffness in the fabric when new, but it's a small trade, off for the protection and I'd still grab another one.
